Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Technicians<\/strong> module allows administrators to connect the platform to Microsoft 365 (O365)<\/strong> and import users<\/strong> who will act as security technicians<\/em>.
These technicians are responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Receiving security alert notifications<\/strong> generated by the SIEM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Managing and closing incident tickets<\/strong> directly in ConnectWise<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This module ensures that all users handling alerts are synchronized with Microsoft accounts, maintaining consistent access and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udd10 Accessing the Module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Log in to the main platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. From the left menu, select Technicians<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. The main page will display the Technicians List<\/strong>, showing all imported or manually added users.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Main Components<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • + New<\/strong> \u2013 Create a new technician manually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Refresh<\/strong> \u2013 Reload the technician list to show recent changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Delete<\/strong> \u2013 Remove selected technicians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Sync Microsoft Users<\/strong> \u2013 Connects to Microsoft 365 and imports available users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Imported users will show a cloud icon<\/strong> under the Imported<\/em> column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Phone<\/strong><\/td>Technician\u2019s phone number for SMS or voice alerts.<\/td><\/tr>
        Username<\/strong><\/td>Internal system username (can include multiple values).<\/td><\/tr>
        Imported<\/strong><\/td>Displays a cloud icon if imported from Microsoft 365.<\/td><\/tr>
        Status<\/strong><\/td>Technician\u2019s current state (Active<\/strong> or Inactive<\/strong>).<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click Sync Microsoft Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. The system connects to your O365 tenant and retrieves user data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Select users you want to import as technicians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Imported users will appear in the list with the blue cloud icon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          \ud83d\udc64 Adding or Editing a Technician<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Click + New<\/strong> to add a new technician, or click an existing technician\u2019s name to edit their details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Technician Information Window<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          This form is used to manually register or update a technician\u2019s information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Field<\/th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
          Name<\/strong>*<\/td>Enter the technician\u2019s full name. This field is required.<\/td><\/tr>
          Email<\/strong>*<\/td>The technician\u2019s email address (must be valid, preferably their Microsoft 365 address).<\/td><\/tr>
          Phone<\/strong>*<\/td>The phone number used for SMS alerts, MFA, or automated voice calls.<\/td><\/tr>
          Status<\/strong><\/td>Defines whether the technician is Active<\/em> (can receive alerts) or Inactive<\/em>.<\/td><\/tr>
          Usernames<\/strong>*<\/td>Add one or more usernames used across systems (for example, ConnectWise or Active Directory). Use commas to separate multiple values.<\/td><\/tr>
          Optional (SMS Consent)<\/strong><\/td>If checked, the user agrees to receive security and verification messages from SkoposGuard. Includes a link to the Privacy Policy and opt-out instructions.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

          Buttons:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Save<\/strong> \u2013 Stores the new or updated technician information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • List<\/strong> \u2013 Returns to the Technicians List.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • + New<\/strong> \u2013 Clears the form to register another technician.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            \n\n\n\n

            \ud83d\udea8 Integration with SIEM and ConnectWise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • Imported or manually added technicians are automatically linked to the SIEM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • When a new alert is generated, the assigned technician:\n
                \n
              • Receives an email, SMS, or voice alert<\/strong> (based on configuration).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Can acknowledge<\/strong> or close<\/strong> the incident directly from the alert interface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • When a ticket is closed in SkoposGuard, the system synchronizes the status back to ConnectWise<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                • Ensure that the Microsoft 365 credentials used have Directory.Read.All<\/strong> permissions to fetch users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Only assign \u201cActive\u201d status to users currently on the security response team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Review the technician list regularly to remove old or inactive accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Keep phone numbers updated to avoid missed SMS or voice alerts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
